A three-week creative residency inside Edge City India
October 11 to November 1, 2026 · Mandrem Beach, North Goa
We’re inviting video creators, writers, and other storytellers to live inside the Edge City India village for the full three weeks and create original work inspired by the people, ideas, and experiments taking shape around them.
We’re looking for creators with a distinctive voice, a strong body of work, and the curiosity to participate fully in the community. Residents have creative freedom to follow the stories that interest them; in return, we ask each person to create one meaningful anchor piece or a small body of work, publish from the experience, and collaborate with at least one other resident or part of the community.
Limited ticket, accommodation, and travel support may be available to selected creators, subject to sponsorship. Self-funded creators are welcome too. Applications are open below.

Edge City is a society incubator, it gathers people working at the frontiers of technology, science, and culture into month-long popup villages around the world. Nine villages since 2023, more than 12,000 participants across four continents, from Edge Esmeralda in California to Edge City Lanna in Thailand to Edge City Patagonia in Argentina.
The four principles shaping every village are co-create and build, healthy by default, multigenerational, multidisciplinary.

We'll gather hundreds of founders, builders, researchers, scientists, and creatives to live, work, and build together: coworking, daily programming and salons, 8 to 10 focused residencies, and a rhythm of movement, good food, and community. It's our first village in India, and the next chapter in Edge City's journey of building a global community.
What we look for is content and context creators, embedded for the full three weeks, with full creative freedom.
We don’t want to create a media team or a documentation crew. We want to give space to artists “in residence” whose subject happens to be a temporary city and the people co-creating it. The single strongest lesson from past villages is that proximity and living in the village produce the best work.
The point of the mix is that the same three weeks get metabolised into different ways, and the residency itself becomes a small demonstration of what the village is for.
This residency was built as a collaboration with The Modern Renaissance, a community for multipassionate people founded by Cesca Centini.
The Video Creator Residency at Edge City Patagonia 2025, organised by Mariella Torres, brought four storytellers into the village.
