Our key goal for this gathering is to create a safe space for attendees to explore ideas and learn together without judgment, much like a college campus.

Given that goal, here's how we're thinking about media involvement at Edge City:

• We are keeping the level of press attendance fairly selective, so that attendees can relax and don't have to constantly wonder if their words or actions are going to show up in print. As a result, we are not offering free media passes or comps, but members of the media are welcome to purchase a ticket.
• Members of the media will wear press badges and announce their role whenever they enter a conversation or event, so that attendees know when they're interacting with a reporter.
• All discussions and events are off the record, unless the speaker and all participants consent ahead of time.
• If you wish to use any photos shared in the attendee group chat, please get permission from everyone who is in the photo and also one of the core team members of Edge City (Timour, Telamon, Sophie)
• We ask that any members of the media who plan to attend let us know at [email protected] so we can give them a lay of the land and share our media policy. So if you have anyone who is interested, please send them our way!
