Edge City convenes people working at the frontiers of tech, science, and society in popup villages across the globe. We aspire to be a 'society incubator'— a lab of experimentation for new ideas, tech, culture, and organizations, all dedicated to accelerating human flourishing.
The villages last 1-2 months and are perfect environments to live, learn, and experiment with frontier projects. The participants are leaders from diverse fields, including Crypto, AI, BioTech & Longevity, Philosophy, and Governance.
We're seeking a Volunteer Lead to coordinate and manage volunteer efforts for Edge Esmeralda (May 30 - June 27). You'll be responsible for creating an exceptional volunteer experience that supports our mission while building meaningful community connections among volunteers.
As the bridge between our core production team and volunteer contributors, you'll design systems that make volunteering both impactful and rewarding. You'll foster a collaborative culture where volunteers feel genuinely valued and connected to Edge City's mission of accelerating human flourishing through innovative community design and Esmeralda’s of building a thriving walkable community in Northern California.
This is a volunteer leadership role that requires presence during the full Edge Esmeralda village duration, with preparation work beginning 3 months prior. You'll work closely with our production team while maintaining autonomy over volunteer operations and culture.
